Hello, friend!
I started a writing project with my dad back in January 2016. He had recently retired, I had started a new job that meant I had free time, and it seemed the stars aligned. We called it “A Year of Writing” and started posting (almost) daily.
The rules were that we couldn’t edit what we wrote. Everything was a first draft and usually limited to 30 minutes of writing time. We kept it up until we discovered National Novel Writing Month. After that, the blog fell to wayside.
It was a great exercise while it lasted. Without it, I never would have discovered the stories I have to tell. I’m not going to put all that blog content here (that would be a bit too much). You can find it online here.
Outside of that blog, I have a host of other archival content that isn’t online (yet). I hope to start sharing my favorite pieces from there with you soon as well as get back to shorter writing. Expect to see updates twice a week!
